About me
Reconstructions of the nasal septum are highly complex and are among the most difficult procedures in nasal surgery. I have been involved in the surgical treatment of nasal septal perforations (correctly: nasal septal defects) since I began my career as a senior ENT surgeon in 2001. From then on, I have performed more than 1,000 surgical nasal septal reconstructions myself as a senior consultant, chief physician and private doctor - in addition to rhinoplasties and operations on the paranasal sinuses - and have examined more than 2,500 patients with nasal septal defects in my consultation hours.
I have been lecturing on nasal septal defects since 2005 and have been operating on nasal surgery courses since 2008.
